Description

Surtron LED

SURTRON ABC is a module that can be connected to a compatible electrosurgical unit, specifically for electrosurgical coagulation procedures with Argon gas, indicated for open surgery and laparoscopy.
Argon is an inert gas which, when used in combination with specific high-frequency coagulation currents generated by an electrosurgical unit, enables non-contact superficial coagulation to be achieved thanks to the ionisation of the gas flow by the high-frequency current.

SURTRON ABC is designed so that when connected to an electrosurgical unit with characteristics compatible with Argon procedures, erosion can be achieved by both manual and foot activation. Connection to the ABC unit does not prevent the use of other electrosurgical unit functions, in fact, when using compatible LED units, Argon gas erosion only occurs when the high-frequency coagulation current (SPRAY) is eroded.
