SURTRON EVAC is a system for extracting and filtering the fumes produced during surgery.
The fumes produced during surgery have an unpleasant, strong and persistent odour. These fumes are composed of water vapour, organic gases, visible or invisible solid particles and viral components. Good suction and filtration eliminate unpleasant odours, reduce bacteriological and/or viral risks, and solve the particularly annoying problem of optimum vision of the operating area during laparoscopic procedures.

In the SURTRON EVAC, suction can be activated : AUTOMATIC, via an electronic system controlling activation of the high-frequency electrosurgical unit; MANUAL, by acting directly on the unit via a foot switch (optional).
The suction flow can be adjusted to suit particular needs.
For laparoscopic procedures, there is a specific function that can be quickly selected.

SURTRON EVAC features electronic suction control with filter wear indicator.

There are two different types of filter, quickly replaceable, consisting of a ULPA-type filter with an activated carbon section dedicated to eliminating the bad smells of electrosurgical fumes, and a 7/8″ (22mm) connector.
The filters are fitted with an electronic system to monitor their state of use.
The BLUE filter is the standard filter and is supplied with the unit for initial use.
The RED filter is an optional spare part, designed for long service life.
