Description

Sternmed

The Xenox M90 is a mobile X-ray unit designed for X-ray examinations at the patient’s bedside and in the emergency department. It features a touch-screen control panel for displaying and setting X-ray parameters.

Super performance

Perfect weight distribution within the equipment: the center of gravity is ideally positioned to make the equipment easy to maneuver and move.
The Xenox M90 can easily overcome small obstacles, such as the difference in level between the bottom of the elevator and the corridor.
The automatic standby braking system is a passive safety feature that prevents the mobile X-ray unit from rolling uncontrollably downhill.
Thanks to the unit’s compact size, the operator has good visibility during transport and when passing through the small doors of older hospital infrastructures.
Thanks to the off-center rotating handle, the equipment is easy to position in any location.
The rotation function of the arm in relation to the vertical axis features an automatic return device that reduces extension, guaranteeing equipment stability in any standard operating position.
The special geometry of the X-ray source support arm enables the equipment to be used even in neonatal or adult intensive care units, where space for movement is generally limited as it is occupied by rescue devices.
The control panel is microprocessor-controlled, with digital display of radiological parameters.
The TFT touchscreen makes it quick and easy to interpret and select examination parameters.
Control software developed in the Windows® environment can be updated using a standard PC with serial port capability.
Innovative control functions include X-ray tube thermal units and filament current.
Selection of the examination modality in three sizes (human anatomical figure), automatic exposure time control, setting of examination parameters in three points (kv, ma, s) or two points (kv, mas) and selection of the three speeds on the support screen.
The technology used to create the man-machine interface (an innovation compared with standard products on the market), enhances the unit’s operational performance.
The arm is equipped with an articulated joint combined with a double four-bar linkage system, independently balanced.
The function of the arm assembly is to support the X-ray source suspended above the operating area, keeping it perpendicular to the examination surface.
The attractive design and colors have been chosen to limit the emotional impact on the patient, taking into account the ergonomic features linked to the practical use of the device.
